Nine-Patch Studio is a lightweight tool for theme designers and UI creators. Start with a shape template or import a PNG, recolor your image, edit border marks, and preview stretching—all in one workspace.

• 14 shape templates: rectangles, rounded corners, and horizontal or vertical pills.
• Color replacement: choose source and target colors and adjust matching tolerance.
• Precise border editing: draw and erase marks on the outermost 1-pixel border.
• Stretch previews: check horizontal, vertical, and combined stretching.
• Auto marking: generate suggested center stretch marks and content bounds.
• Stroke effects: customize template outlines with color, width, style, and offset.
• Undo and redo: move through your editing history.
• Export .9.png: save a PNG source image with its marker border.

Download the HTML file and open it in a recent desktop version of Chrome, Edge, or Safari. No internet connection is required, and your images stay in your browser.

Quick start

1. Import a PNG or click a shape template.
2. Customize colors and add border marks.
3. Check the stretch preview.
4. Export your .9.png file.

Hold Space and drag to pan. Use the mouse wheel to zoom, and press Esc to cancel an unfinished line.

Please note

• The interface and user guide are in English.
• Maximum canvas size is 2048 × 2048 pixels, including the marker border.
• Stretch previews are simulations. Confirm the final appearance in your target theme or Android project.
• Exported files are PNG source images, not compiled Android resources.
• Export your work before closing or refreshing the page; editing progress is not saved automatically.
